My Conclusion

The Chinese Civil War was a war that truly changed the lives of many Asians. Asians, scared of being controlled by the Communists, fled to places like Taiwan or Hong Kong in hope of a better future for their families. Those who fled, like my grandparents on my father's side, eventually settled down and became a part of the community they lived in. Throughout this project, I learned many things, such as the forces that drove the Nationalists and the Communists to fight in this war, and also the amount of people that moved out of China due to the war. Through this project, I can say that I now know the Chinese Civil War's background, the reason my grandparents fled China, and I also know that everyone has a background that they all embrace, and that pieces together the History of Us.
